How it works
Open Graph tags control how a link looks when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, and most other platforms; Twitter Card tags do the same for X/Twitter, which reads its own tags first and falls back to Open Graph. Does this check that my image actually loads?
No — it generates the tags from the image URL you provide, but doesn’t fetch or verify the image itself. Check that the image loads and is the right size (1200×630px is the common recommendation for large-image cards) separately.
